Founders Announces $1 Million Commitment to USC Lancaster
The Board of Directors of Founders Federal Credit Union demonstrated their support of proposed expansion plans at the University of South Carolina Lancaster with a $1 Million contribution to the Educational Foundation of USCL.

The gift, the largest ever for USC Lancaster, will help fund the construction of a $6.8 Million classroom building on campus as well as new bypass signage. The $1 Million will be made payable over the next ten years and is given, in part, to honor Mr. James Bradley, one of the credit union founders and Mrs. Laura M. Fleming, former President and CEO of Founders Federal Credit Union.

Bruce Brumfield, President and CEO of Founders Federal Credit Union, along with the credit union’s Board of Directors, announced the contribution during USC Lancaster’s 50th Anniversary Gala Tuesday evening. "This university is the heart of this community and its success and growth is imperative to the success and growth of Lancaster. I challenge every business and community leader in Lancaster County to step up and make this future expansion a fast reality," Brumfield said.
